01An Inquiry from Google: A New Customization Project
Lina was a purchasing manager at a fragrance company. At the time, she was sourcing a batch of glass perfume sample bottles for a new fragrance product line.
Although the bottles were small, she had specific requirements for their appearance, dimensions, and overall quality. She wanted a clean, minimalist bottle shape with a finish that matched her brand positioning, while also ensuring consistent quality in future mass production.
While searching for suitable products on Google, Lina discovered the Sunny Glassware website.
After reviewing our product pages and company profile, she contacted our team by email and shared her initial design drawings.
With over 20 years of experience in glassware manufacturing and exports to more than 20 countries and regions, Sunny Glassware offers more than just production services. Our award-winning design team was also an important reason for Lina to continue the conversation. Our design capabilities have earned the trust of customers such as NEST over the years.

02A Simple-Looking Design, but a Challenging Sampling Process
After receiving Lina's drawings, our team did not rush into production. Instead, we first reviewed the bottle structure, dimensions, and manufacturing requirements.
The custom perfume sample bottle featured a slim, elongated rectangular shape. Although the design looked simple, several details required careful consideration during the sampling process.
- First, there was the proportion of the bottle. If the body was too narrow, it could affect the overall appearance. If the proportions were not properly controlled, the bottle might also lose its visual balance and comfortable handling.
- Second, there was the surface finish. Lina wanted a champagne rose gold appearance. Achieving this color was not simply a matter of selecting a color sample. The finish also needed to be as uniform as possible, without noticeable color variations or uneven coating.
- Finally, the fit between the bottle body and cap required attention. Their proportions, connection, and overall height all needed to be checked through physical samples.
These details could not be fully evaluated through drawings alone. A physical sample was essential to determine whether the design would work as intended.
03Fine-Tuning Every Detail to Bring the Design to Life
To meet Lina's requirements, Sunny Glassware assigned its design and sampling teams to work together on the project.
First, our team reviewed the key dimensions and structural details in the drawings, checking the bottle proportions and identifying potential manufacturing challenges in advance.
Next, we focused on the color finish. Based on Lina's reference requirements, our team discussed and adjusted the surface treatment solution. For a champagne rose gold finish, the final appearance needed to be evaluated under different lighting conditions and in combination with the glass material itself.
We also paid close attention to the fit between the bottle body and cap. The overall proportions and assembly details were checked to ensure that the finished product looked balanced and was practical to use.
Throughout the process, we kept Lina updated on the sampling progress. Every modification was carefully reviewed, and her feedback was recorded and incorporated into the next adjustments.
We did not simplify the sampling process simply because the product was small. Our team remained focused on getting the details right.
For us, the value of a design team is not just creating drawings. It is turning a customer's ideas into practical solutions that can actually be manufactured.
04Two Sampling Rounds Later, Lina Confirmed the Order
After two rounds of communication and sample adjustments, the final samples were completed and shipped to Lina.
When she received them, she was pleased with the overall shape, color finish, and coordination between the bottle body and cap. The details she had initially been concerned about had also been addressed through our careful communication and sampling work.
After reviewing the samples, Lina decided to move forward with Sunny Glassware and placed an order for the custom glass perfume sample bottles.
From the first inquiry email to drawing evaluation, finish discussions, sample adjustments, and final order confirmation, this cooperation was built on more than promises. It was built on the careful execution of each detail.
